PROCEDURE
Thorough oral prophylaxis (cleaning) is done prior to the whitening procedure. The gums are carefully protected with a special covering. The whitening gel is applied to the teeth by a dental professional. Once on the teeth, the hydrogen peroxide breaks down into stain-fighting radicals that break the bonds making up stains, on and in the teeth. The intense light of Zoom helps these stain-fighting radicals whiten faster.
ZOOM TEETH WHITENING: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKES?
The complete procedure takes less than an hour. The procedure begins with a preparation period followed by 45 minutes of whitening.
Generally for mild to moderately stained teeth we recommend one to two cycles of 15 minutes each. Severely stained teeth such as tetracycline-stained teeth require three cycles of 15 minutes each.
HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST?
By following simple post whitening care, your teeth will always be lighter. We recommend proper brushing, flossing and occasional touch-ups to have a long-lasting pearly white smile.

ZOOM TEETH WHITENING SIDE EFFECTS
Sensitivity during the treatment may occur with some patients. The Zoom light generates minimal heat which is the usual source of discomfort. On rare occasions, minor tingling sensations are experienced immediately after the procedure but always dissipate.
