FAQ: Wisdom tooth extraction india

Wisdom tooth extraction is typically performed under local anesthesia, ensuring minimal pain during the procedure. However, some post-operative discomfort and swelling may occur, which can be managed with prescribed pain medication and proper care.

The recovery period after wisdom tooth extraction varies from person to person. Generally, it takes about a week to ten days for the initial healing, but complete healing can take several weeks. Following the post-operative instructions provided by your dentist and maintaining good oral hygiene will expedite the healing process.

Like any surgical procedure, there are risks involved with wisdom tooth extraction. Potential complications include dry socket, infection, nerve damage, and excessive bleeding. However, these complications are rare, and your dentist will take all necessary precautions to minimize the risks.

Wisdom teeth are commonly extracted even if they are not causing immediate problems. This is because they often lead to complications in the future, such as overcrowding, misalignment, and gum infections. Removing them proactively can prevent these issues and promote overall oral health.

I'd like to share a detailed and honest review of my experience. I'm an Australian patient who was in search of an affordable option abroad to improve my smile and bite functionality, as dental costs in Australia tend to be quite high. After extensive research, I came across Meraki Dental Studio in Delhi, India. In March, I made the decision to travel to Delhi and begin my smile makeover journey. My initial visit took place in April, during which Dr. Harleen and her team conducted five dental implants and addressed various other minor dental issues. After a waiting period, I returned to receive crowns for my missing teeth and 18 porcelain veneers. Along the way, there were a few minor challenges, but Dr. Harleen consistently chose not to take shortcuts. Instead, she always found solutions to ensure my satisfaction, even if it meant some(quite a bit) inconvenience on her end. Dr. Harleen is not only an exceptional dentist but also a remarkable and humble person. I've never been as satisfied with a healthcare practitioner before. What truly stood out about Meraki Dental Studio is their unwavering commitment to prioritizing patient satisfaction over financial considerations, which is a rarity in the healthcare industry. I'm incredibly grateful for the care I received at Meraki Dental Studio, and the results of their work are truly remarkable. I've attached some before-and-after photos so you can witness the impressive transformation achieved by Dr. Harleen and her team.

I had visited Dr. Harleen for consultation and after a lot of research and looking into other options. I couldn’t find someone better than her in terms of experience, services, technology, price and most of all her warm and understanding nature. I went ahead with an entire smile makeover (veneers, crown, gingivectomy, zoom whitening, composite filling) and I am more than satisfied. The finish is so natural. She worked so hard to make sure every detail and need was fulfilled. Her entire team is so amazing. They made sure I was looked after well in all my sittings. They were professional yet so fun. The most important part is my smile speaks volume of the work Dr did on me. Its more than amazing (it looks so natural). I highly recommend Dr Harleen for anything dental. She also managed to save two of my teeth from a root canal which was so impressive. For a person who doesn’t like visiting dentist, I wouldn’t mind visiting her again rather than delaying my treatments. Ps. I traveled from Indore to get my treatment done by her because she is that good.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction Cost Delhi

Impacted wisdom teeth are third molars in the back of the mouth that don’t have enough room to emerge or develop normally. This may be painful, so wisdom tooth extraction is recommended. Wisdom teeth are the final adult teeth to emerge (erupt). Most people have four wisdom teeth in the back of their mouth, two on top and two on the bottom- Wisdom tooth extraction cost delhi.

Impacted wisdom teeth can cause pain, damage to other teeth, and other dental issues. In some cases, impacted wisdom teeth may not cause any obvious or immediate problems. However, because they are difficult to clean, they may be more prone to tooth decay and gum disease than other teeth – Wisdom tooth extraction cost India.

Impacted wisdom teeth that cause pain or other dental complications are usually extracted. Wisdom tooth extraction cost depends upon the complexity of the wisdom tooth extraction surgery – Wisdom tooth extraction cost India

Why wisdom tooth extraction is important: Wisdom Tooth Extraction Delhi

Wisdom teeth normally push their way through the gums when a person is between the ages of 17 and 21. The sensation of a tooth pushing through the gums can be painful – Wisdom Tooth Extraction Delhi.

Additionally, because the adult teeth have grown in, the wisdom teeth frequently have no room in a person’s mouth. This lack of space may cause wisdom teeth to come through at an angle or get stuck and not come through fully.

When this happens, the wisdom teeth are impacted. Having impacted wisdom teeth leaves the gums vulnerable, as the surface breaks and the teeth are not fully through. Food and bacteria can get trapped in the gums and lead to several issues, including:

  • gum disease
  • infections
  • abscesses
  • cysts

Wisdom Teeth Pain Symptoms: Wisdom Tooth Extraction Delhi

If you still have your wisdom teeth, you may be wondering if you are experiencing wisdom teeth pain. As wisdom teeth come in, they can be very painful. How can you recognize this unique pain? – Wisdom Tooth Extraction Delhi.

You’ll feel wisdom teeth pain at the back of your mouth, behind your molars.

If you look into a mirror, you may even notice that your wisdom teeth have begun to poke through your gums.

The area might also be red, inflamed, and tender to the touch.

Some people, however, don’t have any visible symptoms of wisdom teeth pain.

Home remedies for Wisdom Teeth Pain Relief: Wisdom Tooth Extraction India

Warm Saline Water Mouth Rinse

Rinsing your mouth can help you find wisdom teeth pain relief. So, try this simple remedy: Mix a teaspoon of salt in a cup of warm water and stir to dissolve. Swish this in your mouth for about 30 to 60 seconds before spitting it into the sink. You can repeat as necessary throughout the day. However, do not try this if you have severe pain and /or swelling. In such cases rinsing with warm water can aggravate the problem. So, it’s best to see your dentist immediately.

Numbing wisdom teeth is a simple way to dull the pain, particularly if the pain is disrupting your day and does not seem to settle through other methods. We advise you to consider spreading a benzocaine-based gel on your gums where wisdom teeth are protruding. Pain relief gels also work great for tooth pain and can be applied as needed throughout the day.

Cloves and Clove Oil

As an old wives’ remedy, most doctors suggest using cloves as a way to appease toothaches and for wisdom teeth pain relief naturally. The best part? There is a good chance that you already have cloves in your kitchen cabinet. Take a whole clove (do not crush or cut it) and place it in your mouth, directly on the spot causing the most irritation. Keep the clove in your mouth until you experience a numbing sensation. However, take care to not use this long term, as clove oil can burn the soft tissues.

Of course, an over-the-counter pain reliever can be used for wisdom teeth pain relief so that you can concentrate on your day. Just be sure to always read the package directions, especially where dosages are concerned.

Although home remedies are available for wisdom teeth pain relief when your wisdom teeth start appearing it is important to remember that most pain-relieving measures are a temporary fix. You will still need to make an appointment with your dentist to determine if your wisdom teeth should be retained in your mouth or removed by an oral surgeon. Whether you can just grin and bear it or your dentist recommends removal, it takes a professional opinion to help you understand how to best deal with your third molars.
